Madurai , beautiful temple town of Tamilnadu. Meenakshi Amman temple is the main attraction of Madurai. The temple was  built by the Pandya dynasty in the 6th century BC, but underwent significant renovations and expansions during the reign of various rulers .

Temple is renowned for its Dravidian-style architecture, intricate carvings and stunning sculptures, The temple complex covers around 14 acres and has 14 gopurams . Other attraction is Thirumalai Nayakar  mahal built by Thirumalai Nayakar and it is 1 ½ km from the temple .
